The Flutesteady and Flute Cradle are products of Flutelab in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
My philosophy is that If your instrument does not feel 100% comfortable, its the instruments fault. Its job is to help you control that column of oscillating air. Thats its acoustical side.
Its other side is a control by its human. The better it interfaces with the player, the better we can play on it. With less fatigue or even pain. And more fun and virtuoso.
Making your instrument more ergonomic is my job and that is why I created these products.
Sustainability
We use energy, we travel, we produce plastic products. There is an environmental impact, and this is how we go about it: Flutelab (who makes the Flutesteady) offsets 150% of its carbon footprint with a yearly donation to fairclimatefund.nl.
On top of that, Flutelab compensates 400% of its plastic production donating to Theoceancleanup.com . They are 3D printed using a biocompatible, plant-based plastic.
